Discussion Questions for Sermon Series Missing Peace Week 2
 

  1. What’s the craziest thing you’ve experienced in 2021?
     

  2. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to other people?

  3. Have you ever gone through a time when it felt like you were on a search to be offended? What was that season like?
     

  4. Being offended is inevitable, but living offended is a choice. How would your relationships change if you more quickly let go of the offenses you experience? 
     

  5. Read Ephesians 4:2. What would making allowances for the faults of others look like? 
     

  6. Are there any offenses you’re having trouble letting go of? Why is letting go of those offenses so difficult?
     

  7. What steps can you take to let go of offenses you’re currently carrying?
     

  8. Ask God to show you any offenses you might be carrying. If an offense comes to mind, take steps to let it go.
     

Helpful Scripture:

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
