Small Group Questions | Week 1
1. Happy new years! What is the most unusual or funny New Year's resolution you’ve ever made or heard of? Did you or they stick with it? Have you made any resolutions this year?

2. Most of us look at a new year and ask ourselves "how can I improve myself this year." But Moses and Esther lived their lives with a much more outward focus and their examples lead us to beg the question: What breaks our hearts?
3. Explore the question "what breaks your heart?" If nothing comes to mind, why do you think that might be and what steps can you take to discover what truly moves you?
4. At the end of your life, what do you want people to thank you for? How does this align with how you’re currently living?
5. What’s one comfort zone in your life that you might need to step out of to make a difference? How can the group support you in taking that step?
6. The sermon mentioned, “You won’t have to give up everything, but you’ll have to give up something.” What is something you might need to give up in order to address what breaks your heart?
7. The sermon stated, “The value of a life is always measured by how much of it was given away.” How does this statement challenge or affirm your current priorities?

8. Decide on one step you can take this week to start addressing what breaks your heart, and think about how you will hold yourself accountable for making a difference.

9. Pray together. Ask God for the courage to act on your convictions.
